Our big news for 2006 is the introduction of the Head to the Heart Living Series journals, designed to connect your confirmation themes with the family faith journey.
In addition, our 13th annual Head to the Heart system update offers you a ton of new enhancements. Let's get right to the details:
New Topics
We've expanded our lesson offerings like never before, offering new options on "Hot Topics" and "The Life of Jesus." "Hot Topics" delve, in a Christian-oriented way of course, into youth-oriented issues such as sex, drugs, war, God & Science, stewardship, and more. "The Life of Jesus" expands our Old and New Testament work to give your kids a deeper encounter with Christ's life and his call in their lives. We've also developed and expanded lessons on Martin Luther, Lutheran worship, and Christian vocation and calling. Traditional catechism or practical life issues - we've got you covered like no one else.

Unlimited Access
H2H membership now gives you access to all of our lessons (now 90 lessons strong) instead of just 20, as in the past. This provides you with maximum flexibility to teach what you want when you want, plus add a whole summer of programming using H2H resources.
Improved PowerPoint® Presentations
Our Microsoft PowerPoint® presentations are brand-new, and will blow you away with new full-color art, cartoons, and engaging Macromedia Flash™ animation. The files are more fun to look at, simpler to use, and will better engage your kids in the lesson. Faith Inkubators founder, Rev. Rich Melheim, has also created a new comment section embedded in each PowerPoint® presentation slide called "Brain Notes." These notes give you the brain-based "whys" behind the "whats" of each teaching point. Use these notes to become a better teacher in the brain-based learning style that permeates H2H. The PowerPoint® resources included in other confirmation programs pale in comparison.
Media Mix Analogies
All of our lessons provide fun new teaching options for you, including a new section called "Media Mix." This section offers up ideas on using a DVD movie clip or a secular/contemporary Christian song as a teaching option. Suggested movie clips can be easily found at your local video store, and most of the songs can be quickly downloaded from a music site like iTunes. These movie clips and songs speak the "language" your kids speak and teach them something at the same time.
Full Color Art
Every lesson contains stunning new thematic artwork by award-winning artist He Qi. This art is not just window-dressing. Each lesson kicks off with a beautiful new image that tells a powerful visual story about the Bible passage. In addition to He Qi art, our cartoons are now in color, too.
New Music
The Faith Inkubators Music Guild has updated and replaced more than half of the theme songs to help you teach Bible verses in rock, hip-hop, Gospel, folk, and even contemporary country. Use the songs as PowerPoint® karaoke or recreate them live using the available sheet music.
Simplified Pricing
For each average weekly worship category, there is now one membership rate. No more fiddling around with "New Member" vs. "Renewing Member" or "Basic Membership" vs. "Unlimited Membership." This year, everyone will pay our past "Renewing Member" rate (or pretty close to it), and every membership will be an unlimited membership.
In addition, members who use our new Head to the Heart Living resources get a big rebate on their membership rate.
