One-Day Training: Small Group Confirmation Crash Course

* Head to the Heart of effective teaching methods…
The brain of your typical Jr. High kid is a crazy, amazing, wonderful work in progress. We’ll cover the unique brain physiology of adolescents and explore teaching techniques that churches and parents can use to teach as effectively as possible.

* Head to the Heart of small group based ministry…
alone will not solve your post-confirmation, mass exodus problem. We’ll examine the powerful structure of small group discussion, service projects, and fellowship that keeps kids connected to church and each other.

* Head to the Heart of equipping parents…
It’s difficult to make a Biblical case that anyone other than a child’s parents should be their primary faith mentors, teachers and role models. We’ll explore engaging, life-giving training and non-threatening resources that equip reluctant parents for faith dialogue at home, with church as the reinforcement—not replacement.

Skills-building, and a Shot in the Arm
Care to learn more? Come and explore a "crash course" on a systems approach to the confirmation dilemma at a full-day Head to the Heart training session.

We’ll then explain the nuts and bolts of launching this small-group, parent-involved confirmation system at your church and explore the brain research behind the creation of Faith Inkubators’ resources. You’ll leave with a solid overview of the entire Head to the Heart (H2H) system (including the new Head to the Heart Living journals), and be ready to implement the system in your church.

These events serve as a great introduction to the theology and theory behind H2H, as well as a wonderful refresher for pastors and parents already involved with H2H. These days are fast-paced, practical, and a whole lot of fun!

Cost of this one-day training is $69 for the first person, $49 for each person after that from the same church. Training materials and lunch are included in the cost. Registration is now available online.

At Head to the Heart University, you’ll immerse yourself in the most effective adolescent ministry/confirmation system in the world. You’ll study the philosophy, techniques, job descriptions and resources supporting this parent-involved, arts-based small group model. You’ll take time to look at variations, tweaks and special challenges which small churches, middle-sized churches and large churches face when using the model.

Head to the Heart: Have a specialized day of Head to the Heart training at your church. We’ll provide a certified trainer to lead your group in the basics of the philosophy and implementation of the most effective adolescent ministry system on the planet.

Guide Training: Guides are the key component in the Faith Inkubators "Head to the Heart" adolescent ministry system. Train your Guides and Jr. Guides and they will develop a greater understanding of their roles and gain the skill to better care for kids. We’ll send a fired-up and incredibly capable Faith Inkubators trainer to you to lead a lively day of skills-building and enthusiasm-building for your volunteers.
