Answer these questions and many more as you immerse yourself in three (3) days of intensive training exploring the “how-to’s” of Faith Stepping Stones™ Parent & Family ministry, Bible Song™ Sunday School & Children’s Ministry, or Head to the Heart™ (H2H) Confirmation & Youth Ministry. (Each specific ministry training will be run simultaneously.)

Faith Inkubators' Directors Rich Melheim, Monty Lysne, and Debbie Streicher will be on hand to describe and model the philosophy, techniques, and resources supporting these Faith Inkubators' parent-involved, arts-based, large-group/small-group models. We'll look at variations, tweaks and special challenges which small churches, middle-sized churches and large churches face when planning for and using Faith Inkubators resources. You'll leave knowing the resources inside and out, and go back to your church with a plan to implement them quickly and effectively.

Who Should Attend?

Faith Inkubators Universities are designed for both paid staff and key volunteers from all congregations, regardless of the time you’ve already spent using a particular Faith Inkubators program. New members will gain and practice crucial and useful “getting started” skills. Intermediate users will learn how to take their programs to the next level. Faith Inkubator “veterans” will appreciate the refresher and opportunity to bring new team members up to speed.

Faith Inkubators is renowned for its hospitality. We bend over backwards to make sure your stay is not only valuable but fun and relaxing. We’re partnering this year with the Hallowood Retreat & Conference Center, a beautiful site nestled in the woods in rural Frederick County, MD, near Sugarloaf Mountain. It is only 37 miles from downtown Washington, DC and 50 miles from downtown Baltimore. You’ll have time to work and plan, but also have time to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful retreat facility. In fact, come early and enjoy some sightseeing in the Washington DC area before the University begins. Make a working-vacation out of things!

What’s Included?

Faith Inkubators University is all-inclusive, meaning lodging, materials, snacks, receptions, meals, and special events are included in your tuition. In fact, just get yourself to Hallowood, (i.e., pay for own your transportation), and we’ll take care of the rest. Tuition runs $699 for the first person and $499 for each additional person from the same church.

Lodging at the University

Hallowood Retreat Center is a unique and comfortable facility, and all lodging at Faith Inkubators Universities is based on double occupancy, so you might have a new friend as a roommate. You may choose to stay alone or with a spouse for an additional $75 per night. Please contact Faith Inkubators right away if you need this type of occupancy.

Schedule and Registration

The event begins with introductions at 1 PM on Monday, and concludes at 1 PM on Wednesday. The registration deadline for this event is 15 days before the start date and is limited to the first 25 people. You can register online or give registrar Arlyce Melheim a call toll-free at 1.888.55FAITH.

Cancellations must be made no later than 7 days in advance of the event. You will receive a refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. Refunds cannot be given for cancellations occurring less than 7 days in advance of the event. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing via fax or email to amelheim@faithink.com.
