About Head to the Heart (H2H)Confirmation Ministry
The Head to the Heart resources and system are a complete, parent-involved, small group ministry approach that challenge churches and parents to grow confirmation instruction into confirmation ministry.
The Goal
The goal of H2H is not just to "get through" the junior high years but to teach content so it sticks in young minds, grow junior high small groups into senior high small groups, and to equip families to be involved in faith dialogue with each other at home.
How Is This Done?
Head to the Heart includes over ninety customizable lessons using the Bible as the main textbook and music, PowerPoint® presentations, art, skits, stories and cartoons as supplements. These resources have been developed and tested for over 15 years using the latest research on teaching how the adolescent brain learns. H2H equips pastors and staff with presentation tools to engage kids, provides small group leaders with guidance to process the subject in their small groups, and gifts families with nightly devotions to explore the topic at home.
How Can Head to the Heart Help My Ministry?
