given them in their family and motivate them to take specific steps to

God is giving them and their family after graduation.
Additional Details on Stone #8:
At Faith Inkubators, we believe that turning parents into allies, allies
into youth ministers, and congregations into incubators of faith are
worthy goals. Martin Luther, himself a parent, taught that Bible, prayer,
and catechism were to be taught in the home. The good doctor called parents
the Bishops of their family, charged by God to live up to the calling.
This final Stepping Stone brings parents and youth to the altar
one more time to repeat the promises to God and confirmation promises,
and concludes with parents first blessing their kneeling graduates, and
then kneeling to receive a blessing from their child. It is at this time
that each parent will know that they have fulfilled their promise to
God...their promise to truly be their child’s faith teacher.
